2025年9月1日消息，南非最大铬铁生产商Glencore – Merafe合资企业有新动作。Merafe Resources在周一下午向约翰内斯堡证券交易所发表声明，宣布已通过合资企业启动基于《劳动关系法》第189条的重组计划程序。
股东获通知，虽与各相关利益攸关方的合作仍在推进，但合资企业已从9月1日起开启磋商进程。公司表明，磋商源于南非铬铁工业持续承受的经济压力，且中短期内缺乏可持续的行业解压方案。自愿遣散计划以及受影响雇员的潜在调动，将作为磋商的重要内容进行探讨。
