
Ahead of the 2025 budget year-end, Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) reported that non-tax state revenue (PNBP) from the energy and mineral sector reached Rp228.05 trillion as of December 18, 2025. This reaffirms the sector’s status as a core pillar of state revenue. Gita Lestari, Head of the Communication, Public Information Services, and Cooperation Bureau (KLIK) at ESDM, noted the achievement reflects collective efforts by ministry units and stakeholders to maintain a conducive investment climate and ensure accountable natural resource management. “This result stems from strong synergy in upholding natural resource governance to maximize benefits for public prosperity,” she stated in Jakarta on Thursday (December 18).
In terms of subsector contributions, the Mineral and Coal (Minerba) subsector remained the top contributor to ESDM’s PNBP with Rp124.63 trillion in realized revenue.
