2026年1月23日，中国牵头制定的钢铁行业首项绿色低碳领域国际标准ISO/TR 25088钢铁企业低碳技术应用指南正式批准发布，标志着中国从全球最大钢铁生产国迈向绿色低碳发展规则引领者。
该标准于2024年1月在ISO/TC17/SC21成功立项，由冶金工业信息标准院院长张龙强担任项目负责人，宝钢、河钢、南京钢铁等产业链核心ļ..标准整合氢冶金、二氧化碳捕集利用等前沿技术，为全球钢铁行业提供覆盖全流程的低碳技术“路线图”。
