Codelco最大铜矿因隧道坍塌停产

7月31日，智利最大铜矿发生致命隧道坍塌事故，促使地下作业暂停，Codelco随即停止在该矿处理矿石。

国有公司Codelco周二表示，El Teniente矿区库存矿石耗尽，包括Caletones冶炼厂在内的工厂不得不进行维护保养。约5000名工人被调至地面设施处，检查设备有无损坏并为重启做准备。

此次坍塌导致6名工人丧生，其影响可能很快波及全球市场。预计停产将使电线、电子和建筑行业常用的铜每月减产约3万公吨，这占到Codelco产量的四分之一。
