中国国有铁矿石贸易机构中国矿产资源集团（CMRG）3月13日周五表示，自去年9月起被禁止消费和到港的必和必拓（BHP）Jimblebar粉矿，中国钢厂或可使用中国港口库存中的该矿一周。贸易商仍不得交易Jimblebar粉矿。
此举出台之际，就在CMRG上周四宣布扩大对必和必拓品牌的限制之后——即从本周末起禁止使用Newman粉矿。目前中国钢铁生产商正试图将尽可能多的必和必拓粉矿运往其厂区，预计CMRG与必和必拓之间的长期合同价格之争将持续。
