2026年3月26日，镍业主体NICKEL INDUSTRIES发布公告称，2026年3月25日其已向澳大利亚证券交易所（ASX）通报HENGJAYA MINE矿山发生人员死亡事故，此后该矿山已全面暂停所有运营活动，以待能源与矿产资源部（ESDM）展开调查。
