4月29日，中国钢铁工业协会副会长姜维表示，今年1-3月，中国大中型钢铁企业（均为中钢协会员）累计营业收入达1.4895万亿元（0.22万亿美元），同比增长1.2%；同期实现毛利217亿元（32亿美元），同比下降5.1%。
中钢协官员指出，受中东地缘政治紧张加剧影响，Ʋ..矿成本及运费。尽管4月铁矿石港口库存已达1.7亿吨的历史高位，但进口铁矿石价格仍在105-110美元/吨的区间内窄幅波动。
