4月13日，意大利马尔切加利亚集团与达涅利联合宣布，前者将投资4.5亿欧元（约合5.3亿美元）在法国建设全新的炼钢与热轧板带生产厂。该生产厂粗钢设计年产能为200万吨，热轧板带生产线设计年产能为300万吨，生产的成品将主要供应马尔切加利亚集团在意大利的下游工厂。
该生产厂按照欧洲环保和安全标准设Ȯ..自动化系统、节能技术，并采用低碳排放的热压块铁（HBI）以及核能与可再生能源进行生产，减少碳排放。该生产厂将采用达涅利技术建设一座电弧炉、一条单流厚板坯连铸机和一条传统热连轧产线。
