据路透社援引两名新加坡贸易商消息，中国公司预订约5万吨澳大利亚新季油菜籽，这是2020年以来首次从澳进口。当年因防止病虫害检疫要求中国停止进口，前不久中国对加拿大油菜籽采取反倾销措施，此消息引发加澳关注。
两名贸易商透露，这批油菜籽11月至12月装运，含运费每吨低于600美元，双方正谈更多交易。从中国压榨利润看价格划算，为新季作物12月底或明年初抵华。路透社7月曾报道中澳接近敲定框架协议，试运5批油菜籽，尚不清楚此次交易是否包含在内。
