土耳其贸易部近期宣告，2018年11月26日与卡塔尔所签署的《贸易与经济伙伴关系协定》（TEPA），将于2025年8月1日正式付诸实施。
该协定生效后，土耳其与卡塔尔会彼此取消针对特定产品的关税以及等效措施。以钢材领域为例，热轧卷、冷轧..不锈钢产品、直径10毫米及以下的螺纹钢、镀锌钢管及螺旋焊管的关税都将被取消。
同时，土耳其贸易部表明，将会执行原产地追踪机制，以避免第三国借由卡塔尔，以优惠税率或零关税的方式向土耳其售卖产品。
