7月23日，澳大利亚可再生能源机构（ARENA）承诺提供4490万澳元（约合2889万美元）资金，支持澳大利亚环境科技公司Calix建设一座由绿电和氢驱动的示范厂。该厂目标产能为3万吨/年，产品是直接还原铁或热压块铁。
