欧盟委员会于9月26日宣布，针对原产于埃及、日本和越南的特定热轧扁平材实施最终反倾销税政策。具体而言，对埃及产品征收11.7%的反倾销税，日本产品税率范围为6.9%至30%，越南产品征收12.1%（现行反倾销措施不适用于和发集团）。此最终反倾销税有效期设定为五年。
此次调查聚焦特定海关编码项下的产品。调查过程中也涉及来自印度的同类产品，但由于未认定印度产品存在倾销情况，针对印度的调查已终止，并未实施相关措施。
本次调查由欧洲钢铁协会（EUROFER）于2024年8月..钢材的产业分布在奥地利、比利时、捷克、芬兰、法国、德国、匈牙利、意大利、荷兰、波兰、罗马尼亚、斯洛伐克、斯洛文尼亚、西班牙和瑞典等多个国家，总计雇佣约3.8万人。
