印度南部卡纳塔克邦规划于10月30日举办铁矿石拍卖会，此次拍卖总量约达24.5546万吨。主导此次拍卖的是卡纳塔克邦矿产开发公司（KSMCL）与R・普拉文・钱德拉（R Praveen Chandra），两者分别供应不同品级的铁矿石块矿与粉矿。

卡纳塔克邦矿产开发公司（KSMCL）此次拍卖的铁矿石总量为23.3996万吨，涵盖两类。铁矿石块矿7.8万吨，粒度在10 – 40毫米，铁（Fe）含量处于60.38% – 63.03%；铁矿石粉矿15.5996万吨，铁（Fe）含量为60.28% – 61.53%。值得注意的是，KSMCL此次拍卖铁矿石报价不包含矿区使用费。
