日本最大的钢铁制造商新日铁（Nippon Steel）预计，本财年一次性项目前年度利润将下降14%，但该预期未包含对美国钢铁公司（US Steel）的展望，主要因美国市场面临重大挑战。

新日铁预计，截至3月的本财年基础业务利润（即经一次性项目调整后的利润）为6800亿日元（45.1亿美元），低于去年的7937亿日元。
