在压延厂热轧分厂的加热车间，通红的钢坯从加热炉中“吐出”，随即被传送至轧机。经过数次碾压，钢板逐渐变薄，最终被卷成钢卷。
10 月 31 日，记者走进北海市铁山港（临海）工业区的广西北港新材料有限公司炼钢车间，实地探访不锈钢生产状况。该公司二炼钢厂生产技术科科长覃庆强，指着监控屏幕上的全流程自动化生产画面兴奋说道：“公司首批交付的 57 吨 S30408 船用不锈钢，已成功应用于平陆运河 5000 吨级 LNG 动力示范船冷箱、罐体等关键部位。”
