能源与矿产资源部长巴赫利尔·拉哈达利亚表示，已计算出矿产和煤炭商品的出口税公式，并表示黄金商品必须征收出口税。巴赫利尔周一（11月24日）在雅加达能源与矿产资源部办公室接受采访时称：“我们能源与矿产资源部已计算出出口税公式。”
他表示，未来征收出口税的矿产商品不仅包括黄金，还将考虑国际市场销售价格，对其他商品征收。除矿产商品外，巴赫利尔补充称煤炭也将征收出口税。他说：“如果销售价格高，当然可以征收出口税；但如果价格低，就不征。不过黄金价格一直很高，必须征收（出口税）。”
