据彭博社报道，巴基斯坦商界大亨Mian Mohammad Mansha有意携手中国大型汽车出口商奇瑞汽车，筹建电动汽车工厂。此消息由Mian Mohammad Mansha旗下巴基斯坦Nishat集团的高管透露。

Nishat集团首席财务官Muhammad Aqib Zulfiqar受访时称，集团子公司NexGen Auto Pvt. 计划8月1日发布活动上，推出奇瑞旗下Omoda和Jaecoo两个品牌共五款车型。集团已为汽车制造与营销投资约1亿美元，10月将启动本地汽车组装工作。

Muhammad Aqib Zulfiqar指出，Nishat集团高管访华与多家车企会面后，抓住与奇瑞合作契机。他强调，中国在电动汽车技术与成本上，远超全球其他制造中心。
