沧州明珠（002108）4月1日发布公告，基于经营发展与战略规划需求，启动年产12亿平方米湿法锂电隔膜项目（二期）建设，由孙公司沧州明珠锂电隔膜有限公司（简称“明珠锂电”）与沧州明创锂电发展有限公司（简称“明创锂电”）在河北沧州高新区共同合资设立主体实施该项目。同日，双方正式签订合资协议书，明确合作推进二期项目落地。
该项目最早于2023年披露，总投资金额35亿元，核心为建设8条湿法锂离子电池隔膜生产线及配套设施。项目分两期推进：一期投资17亿元，建设4条生产线实现年产6亿平方米湿法隔膜，目前处于设备安装阶段；本次启动的二期项目投资18亿元，主要用于建设4条超薄湿法隔膜生产线、配套涂布设备，以及生产厂房、仓库、办公及环保安全等辅助设施。
