4月1日，中国中国台湾地区轮胎制造商华丰橡胶工业股份有限公司宣布完成对住友橡胶纽约州托纳旺达前工厂及全部相关资产的收购。据中国橡胶杂志披露，该收购总价值为3950万美元（约合人民币2.8亿元），标的涵盖132.05英亩土地、199.75万平方英尺（约18.56万平方米）厂房及全套生产设备。
该工厂历史可追溯至1923年，由邓禄普轮胎设立，2015年起由住友橡胶承接运营；因持续亏损，住友橡胶于2025年5月正式关停该工厂，2025年10月华丰橡胶确认收购意向。
